You have an hour to kill before your next Fastpass+ and you are starving! I guess a quick burger on the way to the attraction is the best bet. You could never be so wrong! There is no need to eat a run of the mill hamburger, hot dog or chicken nuggets! You have time for something unique and delicious.
You heard me, unique and delicious in WDW on the run. Disney has gone to greater lengths in the last year to try to diversify its food options at many quick service restaurants. So, no matter if you’re running to Everest or The Mine Train you can find new, tasty eats.
Here are just a few of my favorites at the Magic Kingdom. First, The Columbia Harbour House in Liberty Square. Here you can find
great options from sandwiches to fried seafood and soup. My choice, the lobster roll! Real lobster meat and plenty of it on a soft, split bun. It comes with homemade potato chips too!
Second, over in Fantasyland at the Friar’s Nook, there is one of my new favorites, pot roast topped macaroni and cheese! Oh yes, hot, fresh pot roast over creamy macaroni and cheese. Mix it all up, and this is a hearty and tasty meal even though it is sold as a snack.
Lastly, and just announced, pesto garlic knots at Pinocchio’s Village Haus. Now, I have not tried these yet but my trusted Disney
Foodie friends tell me they are delicious. I will be trying these for sure next time I am running to get to Space Mountain!
So, no more excuses about getting sick of eating burgers and corn dogs on your trip to Walt Disney World. You can happily enjoy eating something new on the go as you conquer your vacation.
