Hi, my name is Alan and I am still a Disney addict.
OK, I am starving! As promised, I will always provide my favorite Disney Fan sites. Since we are talking food and wine this time of year and with the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival here, I figured I’d share The Disney Food Blog. They were up in Epcot for the opening of the festival and put out a great blog with tons of pics and reviews. You can check out the post here titled, 2014 Epcot Food and Wine Festival Booth Prices and Photos of ALL Food Menu Items Now Available (And More of Our Favorites!). This is a MUST before you head to the park for the event.
This site is frequently updated and always has great content. The site is run by AJ Wolfe and has been up since 2009. AJ brings in-depth and thorough reviews about anything Disney food related. And when I say anything, I mean anything! From all locations at the Disney Parks and resorts to the Disney Cruise Line. These posts include menus, reviews and pictures. This site has become so popular that many fans have commented which gives the reader even more information and opinions.
AJ is not only a thorough and gifted blogger, she is an author as well. Her eBook, The DFB Guide to Walt Disney World® Dining, is an annual publication that is a must read for any person looking to navigate the hundreds of dining options the Disney parks and resorts have to offer. As any fans knows, Disney dining can be overwhelming and range from both basic to extravagant and from reasonably priced to very expensive. Oh, don’t even get me started on trying to figure out if the Disney Dining Plan is worth it or not! Get the the Ebook and add it to your library. Also, take a look at the many mini guides on various Disney food topics like, Epcot Snacks or Magic Kingdom Snacks.
I follow this site via their Facebook page and their newsletter. You can like their Facebook page from their website and you can signup for their newsletter at the same time. Their is so much content both on the website and their Facebook page that it could keep you engaged for hours. Lastly, check out the podcasts. There are so many of them! The page listing the podcasts is really well done and makes it easy to navigate to find the topic you are interested in listening to. To save yourself a trip to the site to listen, you can subscribe via iTunes or RSS and listen anywhere.
I often think that there is no more to discuss about Disney eating but AJ continues to prove me wrong with new content and discussions. This site has so many accolades from the professional media and fans that it would take up the rest of this post if I were to list them. I could only hope to reach that level of popularity in 10 years that The Disney Food Blog has done in 5!
Great job and much thanks to The Disney Food Blog to meeting the needs of this and all of the Non Recovering Disney Addicts around the world!
I hope you enjoy! Thanks
